Senior Services can assist setting up services such as respite for caregivers as well as services for seniors such as personal care, homemaking, personal emergency response systems, friendly visits, utility and medication assistance and grocery shopping for homebound seniors among others. These programs are provided on a sliding fee-scale and are funded by the National Family Caregiver and Title III Grants and the Union County Senior Services Sales Tax.

Care Train of Union County Holiday Groceries

Seniors 60 and over with a monthly income of less than $1,945 single and $2,621 for a two person household may qualify for a food voucher to be used at a local grocery store for the holidays from Care Train of Union County.  Food vouchers will be distributed the week of Christmas.  **Applications must be turned in on or before November 20th, 2014.**  click here for application

Union County Senior Sales Tax Grant Dollars Available

Grant applications are available for any agency that would like to apply for funding from the Senior Services Sales Tax to provide a program or service that would benefit the seniors of Union County. 

A Senior Services Sales Tax writing workshop will be held from 2-4pm on September 18th in the Buckeye Room of the Agricultural Services Building, 18000 SR 4, Marysville.  Bring your questions and concerns.
